Interesting Facts:

  • Our marine algae are grown in a purpose built eco facility to avoid the risk of pollution to the sea. This not only guarantees purity of the algae but also means that the eco balance of the oceans are not disturbed by uncontrolled harvesting.
  • Sea Buckthorn originally grew in Siberia and Mongolia and was first used in the 8th century in Tibetan medicine. It was used by Gengus Khan to give shine to his horses’ coats and to treat the burns of the Chernobyl victims. In the 1950s, it was given to hospital patients to treat eczema and as vitamin C to treat scurvy.
